Middle Beach is a quiet, sandy stretch on the eastern shore of the Yorke Peninsula, about 60 km north-west of Adelaide. This shallow, sheltered beach is a hidden gem for those seeking a relaxed snorkel away from the crowds. The calm, protected waters over sand and sparse seagrass beds make it an ideal beginner-friendly spot, especially on a light westerly breeze. It's a popular fishing beach too, so expect a few locals casting lines from the shore. The real appeal is the peaceful, uncrowded setting — perfect for a gentle splash-and-explore session with kids or a lazy afternoon float.
