Mazie Bay, on the north-western shore of North Keppel Island (Ko-no-mie Island), is a serene camping beach fringed by lush native hibiscus and backed by the Keppel Bay Islands National Park. Its crystal-clear waters wash over vibrant fringing reefs that begin just metres from the sand, offering exceptional snorkelling right off the beach. Part of the southern Great Barrier Reef, this sheltered bay is a haven for marine life, with easy access to the reef from the shoreline making it a favourite for campers seeking a secluded island escape on the Capricorn Coast.
