Marty's Cave is an offshore swim-through cave in the crystal-clear waters of Jurien Bay Marine Park on Western Australia's Coral Coast. Unlike a true enclosed cavern, this limestone formation creates a dramatic tunnel beneath the seabed — like a natural stadium passage — where shafts of sunlight pierce through openings above. Divers and snorkellers glide through the cavern while schooling fish flit past the walls. The site sits within the Jurien Bay Marine Park, renowned for its resident Australian sea lion colony and vibrant reef ecosystems, making Marty's Cave a unique geological and marine highlight of the region.

Moderate risk: Enclosed swim-through
The cave is a tunnel-like swim-through with limited overhead clearance; snorkellers must be comfortable in enclosed spaces and should not enter if claustrophobic.
Low risk: Surge and swell inside cave
Swell can push snorkellers into rock walls inside the cave. Calm conditions recommended.
Low risk: Strong currents outside cave
Offshore currents in Jurien Bay can be strong, especially during tidal exchanges. Swim with a buddy and check conditions before entering.
Low risk: Boat traffic
The site is accessed by boat and located near marine park transit routes. Watch for vessels when surfacing.
