Low risk: Outgoing tide current
Corner Inlet experiences tidal movement; outgoing tide can create gentle currents that may drift swimmers away from the beach entry point.
Low risk: Boat traffic near ramp
The active boat ramp sees trailered boat traffic launching and retrieving; snorkelers should stay well clear of the ramp area.
Low risk: Cold water temperature
Gippsland waters are cool-temperate year-round; winter and spring water temperatures can drop below 12°C, requiring a wetsuit.
