Louisa Bay lies on the western side of Dirk Hartog Island within the pristine Shark Bay Marine Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This wild, remote beach offers exceptional snorkelling over coral bommies and limestone reefs teeming with tropical reef fish such as coral trout, blue-lined emperor, and scribbled angelfish. Accessible only by 4WD and requiring a barge crossing from Denham, the bay delivers a true wilderness snorkel experience away from crowds, with crystal-clear Indian Ocean waters and stunning white sand.
