Tucked along the wild western side of Dirk Hartog Island within the Shark Bay World Heritage Area, Louisa Bay is a remote snorkeling haven accessible only by boat or 4WD. Its sheltered turquoise waters lap against white sand, with vibrant coral communities thriving just 200 metres offshore — ideal for float-and-gaze snorkeling over patches of coral bommies. The bay's isolation means you'll often have it to yourself, surrounded by rugged island landscapes and the incredible biodiversity of Australia's westernmost national park.
