This dramatic dive and snorkel site is best explored as a circumnavigation (15–25 m depth), weaving through gutters, overhangs and caves carved into the bare rock. The area is historically significant as the grave of the SS Catterthun, which struck the rock and sank in 1895. Crystal-clear visibility often reaches 30 m, and the structure attracts grey nurse sharks, wobbegongs, bull rays, eagle rays, black cod, cuttlefish and schooling pelagics.
