Little Hellfire Bay is a secluded, pocket-sized cove tucked within Cape Le Grand National Park, about 50 km east of Esperance. This intimate bay is carved between granite headlands and fringed by impossibly white, squeaky-clean sand. The water is strikingly turquoise and crystal-clear, offering excellent visibility for snorkeling over shallow granite reefs and seagrass meadows close to shore. Sheltered from prevailing winds, the bay's calm, shallow waters make it a hidden gem for those willing to take the short 20-minute walk from the main Hellfire Bay car park. The surrounding heathland and sculptural rock formations create a dramatic backdrop that feels worlds away from civilisation.
