Little Armstrong Bay is a sheltered sandy cove on Rottnest Island's northwest coast, tucked within one of Wadjemup's five Marine Sanctuary Zones. Flanked by rocky outcrops that buffer waves and wind, the bay offers calm turquoise waters with a gently sloping seabed that deepens gradually — perfect for relaxed snorkelling. The protected reef just offshore features low coral formations with small caves where fish like King George Whiting, herring, cod, bream, and salmon congregate. With soft white sand, fewer crowds than nearby bays, and spectacular west-facing sunsets, it's a serene escape for families and snorkellers of all ability levels.
