Lime Bay is a serene, seldom-visited nature reserve on the Tasman Peninsula, offering sheltered, crystal-clear beaches and shallow lagoons perfect for snorkelling. Set among she-oaks and scrub, its tranquil coves open onto calm, protected waters where the sunlight filters down to rocky reef patches and sandy seabeds. The reserve's network of walking trails leads past several beautiful pocket beaches, each with easy shore access for a relaxed swim or snorkel. With the forest meeting the sea and minimal crowds, Lime Bay provides a peaceful temperate-water snorkelling escape on Tasmania's dramatic south-east coast.
