Lighthouse Bay sits at the northern tip of the North West Cape, forming a protected sanctuary zone where fishing and anchoring are prohibited to safeguard the coral. Beneath the surface lie rocky outcrops, coral ledges, and deep crevices shaped into dramatic underwater landscapes. With depths of 12-15 m and visibility ranging 5-20 m, the bay offers easy access to the Ningaloo Reef's vibrant marine life. Popular dive sites within the bay include Blizzard Ridge, Labyrinth, and Gullivers. On the beach you can see the remains of the SS Mildura, which ran aground in 1907.
