Nestled at the southern end of Seven Mile Beach, the Lennox Head Boat Channel is a calm, reef-protected pocket of water that's perfect for family snorkeling and paddling. Sheltered from ocean swells by a natural rocky reef, this sandy-bottomed channel offers safe, wave-free conditions at high tide. Accessed via Rutherford Street next to Lions Park, it's a local favourite for spotting pelicans, small fish, and crustaceans among the rocky edges. With no surf to contend with, it's an ideal introduction to the water for kids and beginner snorkelers alike.
