Leighton Beach is a stunning 1.5 km stretch of white sand just north of Fremantle, offering calm, low-wave conditions perfect for snorkeling, body surfing, and swimming. Sheltered waters provide excellent visibility for spotting marine life, while the backdrop of Rottnest Island makes for spectacular sunsets. Popular with windsurfers and kite surfers when the breeze picks up, this uncrowded beach also features a grassy foreshore with barbecues, picnic tables, and a kiosk — ideal for a full day by the Indian Ocean.
