Kingston Beach, located near the historic river port of Goolwa on the Fleurieu Peninsula, offers a calm, sheltered snorkeling experience along the shores of the Coorong region. The gentle, shallow waters here lap against sandy stretches mixed with seagrass beds, providing a habitat for small reef fish and crustaceans. While not a dedicated snorkeling hotspot, it's a peaceful, off-the-beaten-track spot where the Murray River meets the Southern Ocean, best enjoyed on a still, warm day when visibility improves.
