Josie's Reef is a recently discovered underwater treasure in Kimbe Bay, part of the Coral Triangle and the Great Barrier Reef Northern region. This dramatic seamount rises from deep water, draped in a dense forest of colourful sponges, sea-whips, and soft corals. The site's crown jewel is a colossal sea fan larger than a bus, creating a towering backdrop for snorkelers exploring the lush coral gardens and walls that teem with pelagic life. Clear, warm waters and pristine coral cover make this a world-class destination for advanced snorkelers seeking a remote, wild reef experience.
