Jibbon Beach is a pristine, sheltered crescent of white sand on the northern edge of Royal National Park, accessed through the laid-back village of Bundeena. Backed by coastal scrub and Aboriginal rock engraving sites, its calm, clear waters offer excellent shore-entry snorkeling away from the crowds. The beach's protected aspect means gentle surf conditions most days, while the nearby seagrass beds and rocky headlands of Jibbon Head provide habitat for a surprising diversity of marine life. It's a serene escape from Sydney's busier beaches, reachable by scenic ferry from Cronulla.
