Stretching between the access points at Abbott Street and Venus Street, this sandy stretch of Inverloch's coastline offers calm, protected waters ideal for snorkeling. Located within the Bunurong Marine National Park, the beach fronts sandstone reef platforms and rocky headlands that teem with life in the rock pools. At low tide, the "Flat Rocks" area reveals a profusion of large pools to explore, while "The Caves" nearby offers a large pool opening out to sea. The clear, shallow waters make this an accessible spot to discover the colourful marine life of Victoria's Bass Coast.

The caves around the headland are only reachable at low tide; snorkelers can be cut off if tide comes in.
Low risk: Low tide rock exposure
Extensive rock flats and platforms are exposed at low tide; care needed when walking on slippery, uneven reef surfaces.
Low risk: Tidal current near headlands
Currents can be stronger around the rocky headlands at The Caves, particularly on outgoing tides.
