Inner Gneering Reef, part of the Gneering Shoals system just 3–5 km off Mooloolaba on the Sunshine Coast, is a shallow reef complex reaching only 6–15 m deep. Accessed exclusively by boat charter, this site offers sloping reefs, ledges, caves, and vibrant coral gardens teeming with tropical marine life including turtles and wobbegong sharks. Its proximity to shore and moderate depth make it one of the most accessible offshore reef experiences in southeast Queensland.
