Iluka Nature Reserve's shoreline fringes a World Heritage-listed littoral rainforest on the NSW North Coast, where ancient Gondwanan vegetation meets the sea. The rocky coastline and adjacent Bluff Beach offer snorkelling terrain with rocky gutters, shallow reef ledges, and sandy patches, all within a protected nature reserve setting. Crystal-clear inshore waters provide visibility over sandstone outcrops and seagrass beds, while the backdrop of towering rainforest canopy and headland views makes this a uniquely scenic North Coast snorkel destination. Winter brings migrating humpback whales passing the headland.
