Low risk: Beach access staircase closure
The Iluka Beach day-use area and beach access staircase have been subject to periodic closure for repairs. When closed, access is via walking from Green Patch beach along the sand at low tide.

Bluebottles (Portuguese man o' war) may appear in Jervis Bay waters during warmer months, particularly after northeasterly winds.

Getting in
Located within Booderee National Park, between Captains Beach and Greenpatch. Access via a scenic wooden pathway through coastal bushland. From the Princes Highway, take the Jervis Bay Road exit, follow to Booderee National Park entrance, then follow signs to Green Patch / Iluka Beach. Note: the beach access staircase has been under repair — check Booderee NP website for current status.
Convenient car park located just behind the beach, within the Booderee National Park day-use area.
