Hardys is a lesser-known offshore dive site on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, situated among the network of rocky reefs and sandy bommies that lie off the coast between Hervey Bay and the Great Sandy Strait. The site features rocky ledges, small swim-throughs, and sandy gutters that shelter a variety of reef fish, coral bommies, and invertebrate life. Access is typically by boat only, making it a quieter alternative to more frequented inshore spots, with the surrounding waters often hosting sea turtles, wobbegong sharks, and rays. Visibility can vary with tide and swell conditions.

Moderate risk: Variable currents
Offshore currents can be unpredictable, especially on moving tides. Best dived on slack water.
Low risk: Boat traffic
Being an offshore site accessed by boat, awareness of vessel traffic above is important during ascent and descent.
Low risk: Swell exposure
