Blue Bay in Halls Head is a sheltered, family-friendly beach with calm, crystal-clear waters ideal for snorkeling. Fascinating rock pools emerge at low tide, revealing colorful fish and marine life among the granite boulders. Soft white sand dunes back the shore, while the protected bay offers gentle conditions perfect for beginners. Facilities including showers and toilets are nearby, though shade is limited — bring sun protection. The reef flats just offshore host darting schools of fish in underwater gardens that are easily explored from the shore entry.

Low risk: Slippery rocks
Rocky areas and boulders can be slippery when wet, especially around the rock pools at low tide.
Low risk: Tidal currents
Tidal movement through the bay can create shifting conditions; low tide exposes extensive rocky reef flats that are best avoided for entry.
Low risk: Limited shade / Sun exposure
Limited natural shade along the beach; sun protection is essential, especially during summer months.
