Gull Island is a small offshore rock formation in the waters off Phillip Island and the Mornington Peninsula region of Victoria, known to local divers and snorkelers as a boat-access reef site. The surrounding granite reef drops to 6–8 metres and is home to a variety of temperate marine life, including crayfish and schooling fish. Its exposed, open-water position means conditions are highly weather-dependent, rewarding those who time it right with clear, cool waters and encounters with the region's signature seal colonies.
