Nestled between Burrewarra Point and the rocky headlands of the NSW South Coast, Guerrilla Bay (often spelled Guerilla Bay) offers crystal-clear, sheltered water ideal for snorkelling. A gravel spit extends from the carpark out to a small rocky island, creating a shallow, protected channel teeming with fish and colourful marine life. The bay's granite boulders and reef formations provide a habitat for octopus, wobbegong sharks, and schooling fish, making every swim a discovery. With easy shore access and calm conditions on good-weather days, it's a beloved local gem near Batemans Bay.

Low risk: Swell surge on windy days
While generally sheltered, strong nor'easterly winds can create swell and surge around the rocky island, making conditions challenging.
Low risk: Slippery rocks
Granite boulders and the gravel spit can be slippery when wet, requiring care when entering and exiting the water.
Low risk: Sharp barnacles on rocks
The rocky island and reef edges have barnacle-encrusted surfaces that can cause cuts and scrapes.
