Just offshore from Green Head, a necklace of limestone reefs and small islands rises from crystal-clear Indian Ocean waters, nourished by the warm Leeuwin Current. This area offers exceptional snorkeling over hard and soft corals, seagrass meadows, and sponge gardens. The sheltered bays — including the stunning circular Dynamite Bay — provide safe entry points, while the offshore reefs around Milligan Island and Point Louise are prime spots for exploring a diverse marine environment. Fisherman's Island to the south is an Australian Sea Lion breeding colony (viewing restricted), adding to the region's wild appeal.
