Golden Island Lookout sits within Coffin Bay National Park on South Australia's rugged Eyre Peninsula, offering sweeping views of a turquoise lagoon protected by a natural reef ledge. The sheltered bay below, accessed via a short walk from the lookout, is a snorkeler's gem with crystal-clear waters where curious Australian sea lions often appear. The white-sand beach and calm lagoon make it a prime spot for swimming, snorkeling, and photography, with the iconic Golden Island as your backdrop. Accessible by 2WD sealed road, this is one of the park's most rewarding and safest swimming spots.
