Goal Reef is a rocky offshore reef dive and snorkel site located roughly 2 km off Smoky Cape near South West Rocks on the NSW Mid North Coast. Part of a cluster of well-known local sites alongside Fish Rock Cave, Green Island, Black Rock, and Ladies Reef, it offers clear ocean waters, rocky formations, and abundant marine life. Accessible by boat, this site is prized for its relatively sheltered conditions and excellent visibility, making it a go-to spot for those exploring the Solitary Islands Marine Park region.

Getting in
Goal Reef sits about 2 km offshore from Smoky Cape, near South West Rocks. Access is by private boat or via local dive/snorkel charters operating out of South West Rocks. The nearest launch point is the boat ramp at South West Rocks (Arakoon).
Parking available at the South West Rocks boat ramp and at Smoky Cape lookout area.
No direct fee for the reef itself, but boat launch fees may apply at the South West Rocks boat ramp. Dive charter fees vary by operator.
