The Glenbank Wreck is the remains of a 73-metre iron barque that sank in a freak storm off Legendre Island on 6 February 1911. This historic shipwreck lies at a depth of about 35 metres, with substantial hull and rigging still intact. Located within the Dampier Marine Park, it offers advanced snorkelers and divers a rare encounter with a well-preserved early 20th-century steel cargo vessel that was carrying copper ore from the remote Balla Balla jetty. The site sits roughly 8-9 miles off Legendre Reef in the Pilbara region, accessible only by boat.
