Frazer Beach (also known as Frazers Reef) sits within Bundjalung National Park near Iluka Bluff lookout on the NSW North Coast. This pristine surf beach offers excellent snorkeling around its large exposed reef shelf, where crystal-clear waters wash over rocky gutters and shallow pools teeming with marine life. Located just 150m from the carpark via flat ground, it's also a popular spot for surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing, with stunning coastal views and seasonal whale watching from the dunes above.

    Unpatrolled beach with strong rip currents common along the North Coast; swim with caution and stay aware of changing conditions.

  • Low risk: Rocky reef/shelf

    Large exposed reef shelf with sharp rocks and gutters; care needed when snorkeling near the reef edge, especially at low tide.

Located off Frazers Reef Road in Bundjalung National Park, near Iluka on the NSW North Coast. Access via Pacific Highway to Maclean, then follow signs through Iluka to the national park entrance. The beach is a 150m flat walk from the carpark.
