Flinders Bay, nestled near the historic town of Augusta in Western Australia's Southwest Capes region, is a calm, protected bay where the Indian and Southern Oceans meet. Sheltered from prevailing winds, its shallow, clear waters make it a superb snorkeling destination for all ages. A fun pontoon sits offshore for swimmers to swim out to, while resident pelicans patrol the shoreline. The bay is part of the Ngari Capes Marine Park and offers easy beach access with facilities including toilets, showers, picnic benches, a playground, and shady trees — perfect for a full day out by the water.
