Fisherman's Beach in Jurien Bay offers sheltered snorkeling inside a shallow lagoon protected by an extensive limestone reef system parallel to the shore. This calm, clear-water spot is part of the Jurien Bay Marine Park and sits near the remains of an old jetty where an artificial reef of over 70 reef balls was placed to create habitat. Snorkelers can explore seagrass meadows, bommies just 20 metres offshore, and the Jurien Bay Underwater Interpretive Snorkel and Dive Trail (note: now partially sand-covered). The beach is a known playground for Australian sea lions, with dolphins and diverse fish life commonly sighted in the warm, protected waters.
