Tucked between Collaroy Point and the northern base of Long Reef Point, Fisherman's Beach is a calm, protected pocket of sand on Sydney's Northern Beaches. Part of the Long Reef Aquatic Reserve, the sheltered inshore waters and adjacent rocky reef create a quiet snorkeling haven with fossil-bearing rock formations on the south side. The beach is unpatrolled and uncrowded, offering a relaxed alternative to the busier surf beaches nearby, with gentle conditions that suit casual swimmers and beginner snorkelers alike.
