Getting in
Fish Hook Bay is located at the western end of Rottnest Island. From the Rottnest Island settlement (Thomson Bay), hire a bike and cycle ~10 km west on the West End road, then scramble over rocks to reach the bay — or arrive by private boat/kayak. The island is reached by ferry from Fremantle, Perth, or Hillarys Boat Harbour.
No vehicle parking on Rottnest Island. Bicycle racks available at the General Store and West End. Ferry passengers should park at the ferry terminal in Fremantle or Hillarys.
No entry fee for the bay. Rottnest Island admission fee applies ($19.50/adult, $9.75/child). Ferry transfers from Fremantle start at approx. $59 return.
