Emu Park Main Beach is a calm, family-friendly beach nestled in the heart of the heritage seaside village of Emu Park on the Capricorn Coast. Sheltered from strong waves by Keppel Bay, this gently sloping beach offers safe swimming conditions, especially during mid to high tide. The beach is backed by a grassy picnic area with one of Queensland's most picturesque playgrounds, and the iconic Singing Ship monument sits atop the headland nearby. The Centenary of ANZAC Memorial Walk boardwalk hugs the coastline just above the beach, providing stunning views across Keppel Bay to the Keppel Islands. The beach is patrolled during peak times and is an ideal base for exploring the Capricorn Coast's 23 km of coastline.

The beach is moderately steep at high tide, with a narrow high tide zone that drops off more quickly than expected.
Low risk: Unpatrolled outside peak times
The beach is patrolled only during peak times (school holidays and public holidays). Outside these times, no lifeguards are on duty.
