South Australia's only tidal pool, dating back to the 1880s when Edithburgh was a bustling port. Located on the southern side of the jetty, this naturally filled seawater pool is refreshed by the tides and offers calm, protected swimming and snorkeling with a maximum depth of just 0.9 metres. The pool's connection to Gulf St Vincent waters brings in small marine life, and colourful murals by local artist Darryl Lewis celebrate the region's sea creatures. Surrounded by lawns, BBQs, and picnic areas, it's a family-friendly spot with a rich maritime history.
