Dutton Way Beach, located just south-west of Portland on Victoria's Discovery Coast, is a gentle, family-friendly beach with a shallow sloping shoreline that makes it ideal for beginner snorkelers. The calm waters and sandy bottom give way to small rocky areas where juvenile fish and crustaceans shelter. Popular for windsurfing and fishing as well, this unpatrolled beach offers a relaxed setting with a kiosk and toilets on site, making it a convenient and welcoming spot for a day by the water.
