Dromana Pier stretches roughly 200 metres into the calm, shallow waters of Port Phillip Bay on the Mornington Peninsula, offering easy shore-entry snorkelling right off Dromana Beach. Surrounded by seagrass beds and sandy patches, the pier's pylons attract a surprising variety of marine life including squid, cuttlefish, octopus, and the occasional weedy sea dragon. The backdrop of Arthurs Seat rising behind the township makes this a scenic and family-friendly spot, with the annual spider crab migration adding a seasonal spectacle.
