Donington Beach is a calm, crystal-clear swimming and snorkeling spot on the eastern side of Lincoln National Park on the Eyre Peninsula. Sheltered from the Southern Ocean swells, this sandy beach offers safe, tranquil waters with rocky reef edges ideal for exploring marine life. The secluded setting is complemented by Donington Cottage, a heritage rental nearby, and lies just a short drive from the more popular September Beach. The beach overlooks the rugged offshore islands that define this spectacular coastline.

  • Low risk: Rip currents at adjacent surf beaches

While Donington Beach itself is calm, nearby exposed beaches on the southern side of Lincoln National Park can develop rips. Stick to the sheltered eastern side.
