Tucked beneath the dramatic Diamond Head rock formations in Crowdy Bay National Park, this protected crescent beach offers calm, crystal-clear turquoise waters that are perfect for snorkeling and paddleboarding. The bay sits between the iconic headland and Split Rock, sheltered from heavy swell by the surrounding cliffs. Dolphins are frequently spotted feeding in the shallows, and the beach's 4WD-accessible 10km stretch of powdery white sand feels wonderfully remote. The nearby Diamond Head campground makes it easy to wake up steps from the water.
