Daly Head Beach on the wild southern coast of Yorke Peninsula is a stunning stretch of white sand backed by rugged cliffs and known for powerful surf breaks like Rock Pools and Salmon Hole. Snorkelers can explore rocky intertidal reefs at the base of the cliffs and through shallow seagrass meadows, where the clear Southern Ocean waters reveal schools of fish and well-camouflaged critters. The remote, windswept setting offers a true escape into nature with excellent opportunities for swimming, reef exploration, and beachcombing away from crowds.
