Tucked within Cullendulla Creek Nature Reserve on the shores of Batemans Bay, this sheltered estuary offers calm, crystal-clear waters ideal for beginner snorkelers and families. The creek meets the sea at secluded Cullendulla Beach, with panoramic views across to Snapper Island and the Tollgate Islands. Paddle or snorkel through gentle tidal channels flanked by chenier sand dunes and mangroves, where soldier crabs scurry across exposed sand flats at low tide. The protected waters inside Batemans Marine Park make this a tranquil escape from busier beaches, perfect for a half-day adventure spotting rays, fish, and prolific birdlife including oystercatchers and black swans.
