A series of three stunning natural rock pools carved into the jagged rock shelf south of Black Head Beach, near Hallidays Point on the Mid North Coast of NSW. Each pool offers remarkably clear turquoise and indigo water, with the second and third pools being the most spectacular — deep enough for swimming and teeming with colourful fish. The pools are constantly flushed by the ocean through natural channels, and the third pool features a dramatic waterfall cascading over the rocks. Accessed via a short 980m round-trip walk across the rock platform from Black Head Surf Life Saving Club, this hidden gem flies under the radar even on hot summer weekends.
