Nestled within Eurobodalla National Park, just 10 km south-east of Moruya, Congo Beach and its adjacent campground sit at the mouth of the Congo River where it meets the Tasman Sea. This wild, pristine stretch offers two choice beaches for swimming, surfing, and walking, backed by spotted gum forests and wetlands. The campground is a launchpad for the Bingi Dreaming Track, while the river mouth and inshore reefs provide excellent snorkeling terrain. The area is a haven for waterbirds and threatened native species, offering a genuinely remote-feeling coastal escape with basic facilities.
