The beach stretches for miles with minimal crowds, giving you a true sense of coastal wilderness.

Know before you go

Logged by the community, confirmed by mods

  • High risk: Catastrophic fire danger closure

Park closes on Catastrophic Fire Danger days and may close on Extreme days — check CFS website before visiting, especially in summer.

  • Moderate risk: Remote location

Seven Mile Beach is remote with no cell reception or services; help is far away in case of emergency.

  • Moderate risk: 4WD-only beach access

Soft sand, deep ruts, narrow passes and tidal inundation on access tracks — high-clearance 4WD with recovery tracks and sand flag required.

  • Moderate risk: Swell and rip currents

Exposed to Southern Ocean swells, the beach can experience strong rip currents and dumping waves, especially during onshore winds.

  • Low risk: No freshwater available

No drinking water is available in the park; you must bring your own supply.
