Christine's Reef is a stunning collection of small underwater pinnacles and detached coral reefs in the heart of Kimbe Bay, Papua New Guinea, part of the legendary Coral Triangle. The site begins as a submerged saddle between a large reef and two smaller detached reefs, offering shallow coral gardens blanketed with vibrant hard and soft corals, massive barrel sponges, and sea fans. The reef drops onto sandy flats where garden eels sway in the current, while the pristine coral bommies teem with colourful reef fish. Renowned among underwater photographers for its macro life, Christine's Reef delivers exceptional visibility and richness in one of the world's most biodiverse marine environments.
