Tucked just a five-minute stroll south from world-famous Hyams Beach, Chinamans Beach offers the same dazzlingly white sand and gin-clear turquoise water with a fraction of the crowds. This intimate, crescent-shaped beach is framed by lush coastal bushland that meets the shoreline, giving it a secluded tropical feel. The gentle, protected waters of Jervis Bay make for calm and safe snorkeling conditions, with excellent visibility around the rocky outcrops at the beach's southern end. It's also the starting point for the scenic White Sands Walk, a coastal trail that connects several of Jervis Bay's most beautiful beaches.
