Resting upright in 19–30 metres of water on a sandy seabed, the steel hull is now encrusted with colourful soft corals, sea fans, and sponges. Schools of kingfish, Samson fish, boarfish, magpie morwong, bullseyes, and western blue groper patrol the structure, while southern rock lobsters and octopus hide in the collapsed midship section. The harpoon platform at the bow, the wheelhouse, and the propeller at the stern are the key features. Penetration is unsafe due to structural collapse, but the exterior dive is outstanding.","intermediate","published",{"name":58,"amplitude":74,"phase":90,"latitude":22,"model":106,"epoch":107},[59,60,61,62,63,64,65,66,67,68,69,70,71,72,73],"2N2","J1","K1","K2","M2","M4","MF","MM","N2","O1","P1","Q1","S1","S2","T2",[75,76,77,78,79,80,81,82,83,84,85,86,87,88,89],0.00920562139785729,0.00808760300008723,0.17784281345480218,0.030444338171913634,0.07447683591014816,0.0029690830238803894,0.0025896316295856685,0.00429314171493949,0.03358008464900331,0.13415629694318487,0.055242240920116314,0.03170376751387039,0.012183146816254074,0.09553591835608652,0.007658880052951592,[91,92,93,94,95,96,97,98,99,100,101,102,103,104,105],114.06810427260093,221.58558372296352,207.66402273812753,73.78421752097668,100.41169648313763,281.7581265722909,105.00432206378271,237.53885951107975,146.6137275794465,197.38300351018597,204.29071712707974,188.33391085397534,334.79695421039713,89.17239092137453,134.05493637259497,"EOT20","1992-01-01T00:00:00Z",[109,115,121,126,129],{"name":110,"description":111,"severity":112,"season_start":113,"season_end":114},"Strong swell","Best dived in swell under 1.5 metres; larger swells make the site unsafe or inaccessible.","warning",5,9,{"name":116,"description":117,"severity":118,"season_start":119,"season_end":120},"Cold water temperatures","Water temperatures range from 14°C in winter to 20°C in summer, requiring adequate thermal protection.","caution",6,8,{"name":122,"description":123,"severity":124,"season_start":125,"season_end":125},"Structural collapse — unsafe penetration","The midship section has collapsed and the wreck interior is structurally unsafe for entry.","danger",null,{"name":127,"description":128,"severity":118,"season_start":125,"season_end":125},"Limited visibility after storms","Visibility can drop to 5–8 metres following southwesterly storms.",{"name":130,"description":131,"severity":118,"season_start":125,"season_end":125},"Boat traffic","Located in King George Sound with regular boat traffic; divers must use a surface marker buoy.",{"directions":133,"parking":134,"facilities":135,"fees":140,"access_method":141},"The wreck lies off the western side of Michaelmas Island, approximately 5 km east of Albany in King George Sound.
