Champion Bay wraps around Geraldton's foreshore in a broad, sheltered arc of turquoise water, offering one of the most accessible snorkelling experiences on Western Australia's Coral Coast. Its protected waters deliver excellent visibility and calm conditions ideal for novice snorkellers. Beneath the surface, patch reefs and seagrass meadows host schools of colourful fish, stingrays, and the occasional dolphin. With the city centre, cafes, and facilities just steps from the beach, Champion Bay is the go-to urban snorkel spot where convenience meets genuine marine habitat.
