Located within Murramarang National Park on the NSW South Coast, this snorkel run from Chain Bay to Acheron Ledge follows a calm, shallow sandy beach that gives way to offshore rocky formations teeming with crevices and overhangs. Just a short swim from shore, underwater ledges and boulder gardens create natural habitats for marine life, while the sheltered waters near Jimmies Island offer protection from prevailing swells. The Acheron Ledge walking track provides scenic coastal access to this remote stretch of shoreline, making it a quiet alternative to busier Batemans Bay spots.
