Cathedral Rock (The Springs) is a dramatic snorkelling and diving site along Victoria's Great Ocean Road, where sandstone bluffs, rock platforms, and reefs meet Bass Strait. This iconic surf break becomes a fascinating underwater exploration zone on dead-calm days, with depths ranging from 1 to 8 metres. The site sits below a historic toll gate site and offers a small beach cove entry between rocky headlands. Best reserved for experienced snorkellers when conditions are flat, the site reveals a sculpted reefscape with rock pools, caves, and the rugged beauty of the Surf Coast.
